7. Attachment, Detachment and
Moderation in Enjoyment
Body and Spirit are both functioning jointly in man. The Spirit is the
life-force, the storehouse of all Karmas, of heredity. It is also the point
of Consciousness, starting its function in the fractional state. The Spirit
is also the source which, by its self-rotation, charges the bio magnetism
and intensifies it within the body to carry out all the physical and
psychic functions of man. This bio magnetism is always allied to the
universal magnetism, and therefore the fractional Consciousness can
extend its activities from fraction to Totality or to any point in the
universe at any point of time.
Bio magnetism is an all-pervasive, universal treasure. It has links
with the body, senses, brain, Consciousness and the universal wave-
field. All reasoning people should know the value of bio magnetism:
how to store, conserve and utilize it properly for their survival, enjoyment
and success in life. Pain and pleasure are the two main feelings
experienced by man. All activities of man-thoughts, speech and deeds-
are centred upon the sensations of pleasure and pain. Harmonious
flow of bio magnetism causes pleasure, peace and ecstasy. Disturbed
flow of bio magnetism gets short-circuited in the body and brain. This
causes pain, misery, disease and ultimately, death.
Bio magnetism will get disturbed by one's own wrong actions and
by the force of clashes from without. I will first explain what the
wrong deeds of man are, which disturb his biomagnetic field.

There are five aspects of life necessary for man's survival, enjoyment
and happiness, and for the execution of his duties: (1) Food; (2) Work;
(3) Rest; (4) Sexual gratification and (5) Use of thought force. When
one neglects, over-indulges or improperly deals with any of these five
aspects, the polarity of the cells will be disturbed in the body an
mind. This will lead to a short-circuit commensurate with the intensity
of the wrong-doing. and will result in the disturbance of the biomagnetic
flow. Let me give some examples to illustrate this point.
