Me going big on my little Dirty Rico stemless showerhead with a new custom oil dome that a friend made for me. The piece I used for the inline style dome is pretty much identical to the tube used for the "stemless" downstem on the piece, making the dome a mirror of the piece itself. I think it looks pretty slick. I may take a bit off the top to shorten it up and make slam-dunks easier. This is my first oil dome, and I had a hard time even getting the damn dab in the dome:) I started inhaling 6 seconds before smoke even hit the water due to me tying to get the long dab on the nail and I barely made it through the inhale that seemed about 2 lifetimes long, over 20 seconds of BHO milk. Would probably be easier with some help, I need a pitcrew for some dab assistance lol. This is an 8" dab of homemade G13 BHO. Nice slightly shattery consistency, but softens when held in your hand so that you can work with it. Super aromatic, smooth and tasty. It was the first run from a new 316L Stainless Steel extractor that I just made. I gotta give props to Magweedo and CCC, as he/they were the first person I ever saw taking dabs in this fashion. I utilize 1 can of high quality butane per oz of high quality trim/flower. Q. What tubes do you use? A. Extraction Experts XL Tubes. Good tubes, company always ships super slow though. I use 100 micron metal screens in conjunction with 25 micron pressing screens, as well as unbleached coffee filters at times although I much prefer pressing screens as they hold up better for longer. Do I really need a vacuum pump and chamber for making good oil? A. It is not 100% necessary, but I HIGHLY recommend it for top shelf oil.
